As a church, we support three BMS World Mission initiatives across the globe. All three of the couples/individuals we support have a focus on education, and they are working in challenging environments seeking to bring education to the poor and marginalised, especially girls who often miss out on available education. Education is a vehicle by which the poor are helped to break out of the cycle of poverty and a tool of liberation and empowerment.

BMS mission workers are involved in teacher training and school initiatives, pre-school programmes in Latin America and Africa, and teaching English as a foreign language in China. They also invest in providing education for the children of mission workers and support local partners running schools for the most marginalised in society in Nepal and mobile schools for slum children and schools for orphans in India.

By supporting BMS in education ministries we are helping poor and marginalised people around the world break out of the cycle of poverty.
